Does this require an app?
No app needed! Apps drain your valuable phone battery and we didn't want functionality to be dependent on an app. Feel free to leave your phone behind, the glow must go on!
Is the strap waterproof?
The straps are water resistant but not waterproof. A light drizzle or splash would be ok. Electronics and water are not good friends. Keep them separated whenever you can.
