Does this require an app?
No app needed! Apps drain your valuable phone battery and we didn't want functionality to be dependent on an app. Feel free to leave your phone behind, the glow must go on!
Why is it not that bright?
The fiber optic strap has 2 LEDs and meant for dark conditions. If you're trying to use this during the day or in normal lighting, it's not going to be bright. We kept the brightness down to increase battery life. Try it in low lighting and you'll see how great it looks.
