Sling Bottle

Your Sling bottle has an NFC tag inside the Trippi Glow logo. Tap it with an NFC-enabled phone to open the portal, set your links, and go live.

Activate Product

Instructions to activate this product and claim to your dashboard

Tap the logo

Using an NFC-enabled phone, unlock the screen. Hold it to the Trippi Glow logo for 1–2 seconds.

Where you tap depends on the phone:

iPhone: The reader is at the top of the phone, near the camera. Aim the top edge at the logo.
Samsung / Android: The reader is on the back, usually in the center, sometimes slightly higher. Place the back of the phone flat against the logo. Turn NFC on in Settings first.

Hold still. Don’t swipe. If nothing appears, nudge the phone a little and try again. Thick cases can block the signal.

Open the pop-up

Tap the notification that appears. It takes you to the portal.

Sign in

Manage Features

Once you're logged in, manage your products available features.

Open portal

Manage Tap-Connect

Click the toggle to turn on Tap-Connect. Click the manage button.

Choose between Social or Redirect Mode.

Create a header

Create a header that displays above your links.

Add links

Click Add link. Select your social platform and enter your username or url.

Website fallback

If your desired platform is not listed, select website.

Save changes

Click Save Changes.

Save Web App

Optionally, you can save the online portal to your phone, just like an app. This way you can easily modify your links by clicking an app.

Open the portal

Open the portal from your web browser.

Tap Share

Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).

Add to Home Screen

Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen. If you do not see it, scroll to the bottom, tap Edit Actions, and add Add to Home Screen.

Open as Web App

Turn on the toggle for Open as Web App. Click Add.

FAQ

Which phones work with Tap-Connect?

iPhones starting from XS and newer have automatic NFC reading. Most modern android phones are compatible, make sure NFC is turned on in phone settings.

Can I turn the features off?

Yes you can switch features off in the portal or delete the product from your dashboard. If you delete the product, this will set it back to the new unregistered state.

How do I make changes to my links?

Log into the online portal to make changes. This can be done anywhere and the product does not need to be with you to update.

Do I need to download an app?

Nope.This is a web app that you manage online. If you prefer an app on your phone, follow the Save Web App instructions on this page. This creates a shortcut to easily access the portal.

Can I rewrite the NFC?

Nope, these are locked down. You can’t rewrite the NFC.
